Shadan

Shadan is one of the two known Giant based cities. Shadan is twin cities with Dragonsfall, in Anadare. Shadan, like Dragonsfall, is a city in the clouds, and they can only be reached by magic or flying steed. There is also a lower sub city underneath the floating city, this is called Lower Shadan, where much of the farming and necessary labor takes place. It is located south of the Pale Flats and east of the Tempest Peaks in Dalor.

Demographics

Life in Shadan is mostly a mystery to mankind. They are a very secluded people who rarely interact with the world beneath them. From what is known about giants, skills of any kind are celebrated, weather that be skill with a blade or skill with tools. Farmland can be found in Lower Shadan, and many of the jobs man can be found doing are also done by giants.

Government

As far as Man is aware, Shadan and its twin city Dragonsfall are run by brother kings. King Doran watches over Shadan, and King Jasur

The notation of a successful attack on the city cannot be found in the history books of Dalor

Infrastructure

Man has been exposed to the strange magic of the giants. Based on runes, they can turn themselves into clouds, give themselves bolstered strength, control nature, and some can even control life and death. This magic is extremely unique to their race, only their kin and a few acceptions have been known to harness this form of magic.

History

The cities were founded after the War of Kings. When their people were decimated and thinned, they retreated to these islands and made their home there. They have stayed there since, regaining their strength.
