Every fantasy land has humans. And why not? We do love to glorify ourselves. But this particular world never started with humans. In fact, of the thirteen native races, only a few could be considered even humanoid. But between the politics of deities and worldwide warmongering, humanity is introduced, bit by bit, along with their monstrous counterparts made to ravage the planet. Will modern, "civilised" peoples from our Earth be any match to the wilds of a newborn world? How drastically will the course of a magical history be wrenched off-course by the introduction of a thoroughly mundane species? And most importantly, is there any salvation for those who have been twisted beyond their human nature into the very creatures meant to destroy the world?   (cover by kancala)
