Purpose

The Book of the Winter Moon narrates Owyn the Pious' life. It serves as sacred text for the Sons of the Winter Moon.

Document Structure

Clauses

The book is divided in three parts: Life of Owyn describes his living after his spiritual awakening and his good deeds. The Sons of the Winter Moon do their best to live up to his example. Teaching is the collection of Owyn's speeches and moral lessons given to his followers and disciples. Awakening is the cronicle of the night when Owyn changed his view about life and became a pious man, abandoning his luxurious and egoistic lifestyle in favor of a life of humility and help to the poor.

Publication Status

The book is completely accessible to read for everybody. The original manuscript is kept in the monastry of the Sons of the Winter Moon in Westgate.
