Owen Stonetoe

Owner and operator of Silver Pass Mining
Owen's children are grown and gone. Amelia (his wife) succumbed to an illness many years ago. In his grief, Owen left the home he an Amelia made together. He found himself in The Pass, the lad between the Human-run Kingdoms and the Protectorates of the Elven lands. He started poking around in the mountains nearly 5 years ago, and it is he who discovered the silver ore in the mountains, making it possible for Duvik's Pass to be the economic power it is today.
Owen has been recovering from the plague. When the adventurers happen upon him, he will have just recovered enough to come back to the office and decide what is to become of his mining operation. He is not willing to send more good men into the mine if they are going to get sick.
Owen is a gruff man, but a fair employer. He doesn't suffer fools lightly and will tell any man or woman to go to the Nine Hells.
