As an action, you can spend 1 charge to extend spiky icicles in a 15-foot cone from the staff. Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 piercing damage and 1d8 cold damage. As a reaction, you can spend 2 charges to create a barrier of ice 5 foot tall and wide anywhere within 30 feet. The barrier provides three-quarters cover to small creatures and half cover to medium creatures. Spells and attacks dealing fire damage ignore this cover bonus and destroys the barrier. As an action, you can expend 5 charges to cast sleet storm centered around the location of the staff. The staff will hover in place for the duration, ending the spell if it is moved. This does not require concentration from the caster. The DC to hold concentration in the affected zone, and to not fall prone when entering it is 12.
