Nakkan Mangrove Tree
The most abundant mangrove species on Emycelium, nakkan mangroves grow in large patches around the Shroom Swamps and its encompassing regions. They grow in freshwater, saltwater, and brackish waters and can cope with a number of climates and a range in humidity.
One of the most adaptable tree species in the region, nakkan mangrove trees serve as homes for a number of animal species. Some of their roots jut out of the water, directly upwards, circling the trunk of the tree. Many animals build nests within the confines of individual trees.
