Science and the world's understandings of magic have long since laid stagnant, but now as they flourish in a revival of the world so long in silence. The rigids bounds that hold the world stretch and thin, unable to contain and direct this newfound creativity, leading many to worry as those at the top see these new wonders as tools through which to prolong the inevitable, and the long forgotten people now turn to wild ideas of mysticism, threatening the monopoly of the old gods.
