Ezakk

Ezakk is the oldest and most mysterious of the continents of Yllshara. It is home to the first tribes of man despite its harsh and inhospitable jungles and deserts. Very few humans actually inhabit the continent now as the Dawn War caused them to flee to across the Frost Plains or the Allu'eian islands.
Much of the flora in Ezakk is toxic to human skin and even the air is heavy with a sulfurous fog that causes labored breathing. Most of the inhabitants of the inner jungles that remain are Lizardfolk and strange snake-human hybrids, known as the Yuan-Ti, that prey on humans and animals alike.
Ezakk had been lost to history until 1502 ADW, when the First Westward Expedition set out from Martall led by Olcar Ezakk and his contingent of Baraasi and Pallatian explorers.
