Mararamba

Mararamba (meaning: good walls) is an area of the forest that is cut off from the rest of the continent by the forking of a large, fast moving rivers. Strangely, while the river banks on the opposite sides of the river are typical, the land mass of Abe's glade rises in cliffs directly from the river. The highest point of the landmass is the point at which the rivers fork below.   While most of the Material Plane and the Feywild are flip side of the same coin, Mararamba, especially at the highest elevations, is nearly identical in the Feywilds as it is in Yl Ter Tribaht. Because the separation between the planes is so tenuous, the place is highly touched by Fey magics and supports many Fey creatures. Abundantly filled with Silvanus's power, springs that support the dense forest flow from strange green rocks deep in the woods. The deeper into the dense woods one goes, the higher they must climb, and the stranger and more Fay-touched the woods become. For this reason, the ancient name for the area is Ardaviste, "the place of changes".   Due to the cliffs and the rockiness of the waters immediately off Mararamba's coast, it is extremely hard to access -- all but the most determined don't even bother.
