Ybbis

The world of Ybbis is short-lived in the eyes of other worlds, but the inhabitants of it find more than enough history to call Ybbis experienced. The Goddess Zaah created the world, but is hardly considered its mother, as she left her watch over the world to participate in the untimely war between Ira and her minions. Aeva, a Lower Goddess, instead took her place, with the two other core deities, Beva and Ceva, joining later. Together, all three gave the light of inspiration to the inhabitants of Ybbis. This is when the true birth of Ybbis occurred.   Since then, the spark of industry and progression has lead to much change, for better and worse. For every war, disease outbreak, and racial persecution, there has been peace, bounty, and great leaders throughout Ybbis. While the races were previously at each others throats for land, the world has seen unprecedented unity since the elves, dwarves, and humans banded together to force back a common foe. How long this peace will last, however, is uncertain. Sinister groups that have previously stewed in the shadows have reached a boil, threatening the systems already in place. And, while the Goddesses are quiet towards their people, religious leaders all agree that something has disturbed them.
