Vicyli II Mala Tijone (Common Tinjongnian: vɪsjɪli mɑlɑ tiʒoʊn)
Vaintoreks Vicyli Mala Tijone, II
(Born Andalafynks Vicyli Mala Tijone) Ruling from 1510 to 1530, Vicyli II was the second Vaintoreks of Tinjongnia. His rule was mostly defined by the First Tinjongnian-Xivenyu War (1526-1531) which continued after his death. It began in 1526 when 20,000 Xivenyu soldiers marched into western Tinjongnian territory that had been claimed by Xivenyu by Xivenyu Emperor Anrad I. The initial Xivenyu advance in quickly halted by early 1527. In the same year, Vicyli II issues an Imperial Declaration for the establishment of the title and rank of "Andalbeura" (Imperial General). Before this, the Vaintoreks was the head of the Imperial Army. Now, the Imperial General would serve as the new commander of the entire Imperial Army, reporting directly to the Vaintoreks. Vicyli II issued this declaration after becoming bedridden due to illness in early 1527. Fighting between Xivenyu and Tinjongnia forces mostly ceased after Imperial General Mitol Edruden successfully captured the Xivenyu city of Enzul and issuing a threat that if fighting did not cease, the Tinjongnian Imperial Army would siege Zivandeya, the capital of the Xivenyu Empire. Vicyli would die from his illness in the winter of 1530, leaving his 13 year old son to become Vaintoreks.
Personality Characteristics
Representation & Legacy
Vicyli II is considered the first true Vaintoreks, being the first to reign by himself over Tinjongnia, since Vicyli I and Hersaphlai were co-rulers between 1487 and 1510. His death from the Zivian Plague he had caught while campaigning in Xivenya is a primary reason why his son, Phalus I adopted the iconic full-suited attire.
