History
After the birth of Vicyli Mala Tijone to King Vicyli Renid Tijone of Tihja and Queen* Hersaphali Herara Viscouzi of Zivia in 1487, a treaty was signed between the two to create the Empire of Tinjongnia, elevating the two to the title of “Vāntor-éks vó Tinzē”, literally “Emperor-heir of Tins”. it was eventually shortened and combined to become Vāntoreks. Tihjans and Zivians still valued the ancient Tin Empire, which collapsed around 1600 years before in 115 EY with the murder of the Emperor and his entire family, sending the entire island into a 2000-year-long civil war era. The Viscouzi and Tijone houses were famous for being descendants of Tin Kiros (regional military leaders) who were relatives of the Tin Emperors. The title Vāntoreks of Tinjongnia essentially implies that the hold is the successor to the Tin Emperors.
Cultural Significance
Vāntoreks is only used by native Tinjongnians due to the implications of its name. Other Tin cultures like the Vinlads, Tins, and Ergonatins use Vāntor to refer to the monarch of Tinjongnia, even though none of their cultures have any lingering monarchies.
