Like Æther, Shadow is not inherently evil in design or purpose. Also like its lighter counterpart, Shadow is not based on a raw element classified by mortal man. It is however a cosmic, or more aptly described as an Arcanic element, then a one based on a physical one. Shadow magic consists of deceit, subterfuge, and concealment. Shadow can be used with any of the other elements except Æther. Or at least that's what decades of reason would lead the world to believe.
