Zamira was created on the world Gavreel Prime to infultrate the world Xolis. That the Bastion might protect its unenlightened people from The Black by taking it under the Bastion's wing. After 250 years of training, she traveled through the Twilight Gate to Xolis. What she found there was unprecedented, a living, Breathing world. A green and blue marble warmed by the light of living Solar in the day and watched over by an eye of Ranu by night. The people of this world did not know of the war raging across the dark tapestry. How could they? They still had art, hope, and love. She had been taught that all of these things acted as a beacon to the Black. Things the night would come to feast upon. And Xolis was a rarity among the living worlds; Great Old Ones in the service of the Black were supposedly trapped in the planet's very crust. In the face of all this fear and all this hope Zamira made an impossible choice. She would fulfill her purpose and protect this world from the Black and she would protect this world from her masters and keep the Bastion's blinding light away from this world.
She invented a new identity for herself according to her training giving herself the name Sorrowsong after the melancholic power that formed her. She also used her training to acquire wealth that would let her create The Watchers of The Light. From her post she would keep the Crypt of the Light and Shadow sealed and destroy the servants of the Black. But perhapes most impressive of all, Sorrowsong found passion within herself. She studied every facet of this Xolis and accessed the power of a knowledge domain cleric.
