Nymph

Although the east does not have a strictly elven nation, Nymphs have significant presence in Valaris . Many city-states are inhabited primarily by these elves, a place for them to forge their own identity and solidify their connection to the gods. It is because they thrive that they were able to introduce advanced healing magic, and create renowned medical universities.

Appearance

Nymphs have light olive to brown skin with wavy to curly white hair. They tend to have curvier body types than other elven. Due to an affinity for earth and plant based magic, their eyes are brown or green most of the time.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Names

Nymphs actually do have family names, as a way to trace back their lineage. It also is influenced from human traditions, but having an ancient elven family name says a lot about a Nymph's prestige.

Religion

While Nymphs may adopt some customs from other religions, especially if they live near other races, most follow the Elvhen gods of their ancestors. They attribute much of their healing magic practices to the worship of Kanione, god of medicine, and Haneraan, god of the earth.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Naiads find curvy, plumper bodies to be very attractive. They find these body types to be 'soft' and comforting. Being a little flamboyant and dressing in bright colors is also rather attractive.

Gender Ideals

As a whole, Nymphs are very androgynous. While many are agender, most of them play with gender and presentation, as influenced by the neighboring humans and dwarves. They are free to present however they want, though they rarely place value on actual gender. It is rare for Nymphs to identify fully with a binary gender.
