The First Pyramidion

Created sometime before the first pyramid near the oasis of Sihathor completed construction in -2589 AX, the artifact known as the First Pyramidion was the greatest advancement in ritual magic of its time. Once placed atop the first pyramid, the First Pyramidion's powerful magic ensured the mummified Bennu entombed within would be untouched by time or graverobbers, ensuring their afterlife would go undisturbed in the coming millenia. 
The Pyramidion was created in a joint effort by the clergy of Selcis, Atum, and Anapha, while its magic is continuously recharged by the rays of the harsh desert sun. It requires little upkeep beyond the occasional re-etching of its sacred hieroglyphs, which face constant abrasion from sandstorms. Every other pyramidion in existance is an exact replica of this first marvel, though some are decorated with gemstones as well.
