Wysteria

Hundreds of years ago, the town of Wysteria was founded by a random act of demonic destruction. Two sisters unleashed a deadly tempest of demonic power that threatened the world. A wise and powerful mage sacrificed his life to seal the deadly demonic energy away. That is what legend claims at least. Today, Wysteria is a magnet for the explorers and adventurers, for the town lies atop of a mysterious labyrinth. But not everyone is able to enter the Labyrinth of Wysteria.   Money and Mana makes the world go round. But money is far easier to acquire than mana. Only a few are able to see the mana deposits that fills the labyrinth. Fewer still who can collect mana for the use of magic and crafting. These people are called Alchemystics. And Blaine is one of them. He and his adoptive brother, Silvio, are the only two Alchemystics in the entire town of Wysteria. And they must remain a secret. For their own sake.   Still, the bills won't pay themselves. Guys like Blaine need to make money somehow. So he masquerades as a simple alchemist and explorer. He enters the labyrinth to gather mana in secret and uses that mana to make items and medicine to sell in his item shop. But his life takes a turn when a simple day of gathering mana proves nearly fatal. Only the actions of a mysterious black-eyed samurai and a tome harbouring a strange spirit saves his life. Soon, he is plunged deeper into the world of exploration. And against the secrets held within the Wysteria Labyrinth.
