Anatomy

Elves in Wuldevfre are actually nearly identical to humans in appearance. They are, in some cases, perhaps a small amount taller, and while not necessarily less muscular, less bulky. Primarily, it is their long pointed ears and prominent earlobes, angular features, and inner eyelids (nictitating membranes) that separate them at a glance.

Ecology and Habitats

It is believed that the original elves originated around the southern taiga somewhere, before splitting off into distinct subraces.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

An elf's sense of the passage of time, balance, sight (though they have poor night vision the range of colors they can see far exceeds any other race), and especially hearing and touch are incredibly sensitive. Their ability to gauge distances and scale at a glance too is very good. However, for some reason or another, they have virtually no sense of smell or taste.
Elves are, however, rather naturally gifted with magic.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Skin, eye, and hair color can vary as much, if not more, in elves than in humans. The Island Elves of Hé Ōrndǔ are typically rather fair skinned and are either blond or red haired with green or blue eyes, sometimes hazel. Aether elves have a more ruddy complexion with hair and eyes of a multitude of shades, while Polar Elves have much darker skin and light brown eyes some describe as golden.
