Wrend

A world that has weaponized itself against it's inhabitants- Wrend hungers.   Your options are limited as the world around you seeks to snuff out the last breath of every mortal being. Monuments and relics routinely buried, destroyed. Mundane objects such as books and tools end up consumed by destructive insects and fungus, and the most unfortunate among us may find themselves infected and decaying as well.   A land of extremes, where one full day takes a quarter of a lifetime. The nocturnal Trolls have built their lives around this slow moving horizon, preferring the darkness of the Umbra, to the certain death of Daybreak. Traditionally nomadic, many still live their entire lives in large Caravans that brave the day to day terrors of Wrend. Others live in large stronghold cities, protected by the magic of The New Harvest Syndicate.   The fires don't stop burning until the floods come, and with every force of nature Wrend brings forth a beast of great Horror. Each of them divinely beautiful and hideous. Wrend's primal hate in physical form. No matter your shelter, or the illusion of control, you must remember, you are not safe.
