  • Background: Before there was peace, there was eternal war. After the genesis, and after the First Purge of Monsters, the five factions of Northern Wren engaged in the most brutal war of ancient Wren: The War of the Arches. This war raged for nearly 100 years, leading to the creation of both the God of War, Ruzbar, and the God of Hate, Ura. The War of the Arches lead to staggering casualties on both sides, exploration of new methods of torture, new weapons, coups, betrayals, and chaos. That was, until the heroic actions of Adepa, the daughter of the reigning Treitian general who was brutally tortured and murdered behind enemy lines. Instead of turning to hate or desolation, Adepa turned to forgiveness and love, tired of seeing her grandfather, her father, and the rest of her family being slaughtered. Upon ascending to the highest ranking general in the Treitian faction after her mother passed, Adepa asked for peace talks to begin with the Patrulean faction, Patrulea initally refused. To promote peace talks, Adepa ordered her troops to fortify and stop the offensive. In addition, she sent out three horsemen to find the most magnificent gift they could give to promote peace. The first returned from the east with a rainbow-colored bird with a magnificent wingspan. The second returned from the west with a rock that contained gold, silver, ruby, emerald, and sapphire all layered together. The third, however, returned with the winning prize, a brilliantly blue flower now known as the Birui. Simply upon staring at it would cause one's aggression to fade in taking in its ethereal beauty. Upon presenting this flower to the Patrulea and other warring factions, peace talks began. Thus, a new era of peace was ushered in, spurring a massive outpouring of ardentia. This led to the creation of Linnistra, the Goddess of Tranquility by the Calugar, an ancient order of wizard-monks. Linnistra was the eighth deity to enter Wren. Linnistra values peaceful resolution of conflicts, and grace in the midst of great pressure.   Blessings offered: Linnistra offers the use of her shield and the Birui, as well as buffs to Persuasion and Insight.
