Security Locks

Hobrax has long held standards of respect for personal privacy. So much so that, upon the legalization of casinos and brothels in the very early Heroic Age, a new form of locking mechanism was commissioned by several of the newly protected businesses. Multiple different locksmiths and Arcanists alike produced design ideas, but one designer managed to integrate small shards of carefully measured and cut Knowledge Prismatics. The crystals inside the lock were able to magically scan, memorize, and reidentify whatever the user wished, be it eyes, fingerprints, or a vocal intonation. These locks were obviously quickly snatched up and popularized, and eventually came to be used all over Visctheria.
