The Eekay, are a kind of self replicant artificial intelligence. This species name, is a adaptation of the initials E.C.I., that means Extra-Coporeal Inteligence.

Anatomy
This species, don't have physical natural bodies, they are virtual, self awarness beings. Their physical bodies, also know as Exo-Body, must have a sphere made of a vitreous material, normaly located where the head must be in a humanoid, where their "brain" are located, in this sphere are projected the virtual representation of the individual, and if this sphere are destroyed they are killed.
In the virtual world, they have a spherical, holographic shape, that can vary in colors, size, details, etc.
In the physical world, they have they use their Exo-Body, that can vary in shape, material, color, etc, depending on the individual.

Eekay normaly lives in strongholds, made of a metalic shell covering a mainframe, that contain a Hangar, equipped with, vehicles, and the Eekay Exo-Body, in addition it has chambers that grant access to their virtual reality city to the other species.
