The start of the Modern Calendar, as agreed upon by the Council of Psyjic.
  On the 13th Moon of Haavar, the Arcanists known as Olgi, Giovanni, and Lemaer gathered on the shores of Draedurond to rid the world of Dragons.
  Olgi Stormfist was a human Arcanist from the newly found city of Tymora, spending much of her life dedicated to the Higher Mysteries, and the development of Tenth Level magics. Referenced as one of the most powerful Arcanists prior to The Severance.
Giovanni was believed to be a half-breed mix of human and an unknown race. He made a deal with the demons of the Abyss, cursing him and his family, causing horrible malformations, and the development of horns upon his head.
Lemaer Greencloak was an Elf of Evalon, his Clans most powerful Caster, he worked tirelessly to perfect the High Elven Magic taught to him by his ancestors.
  On the 13th Moon of Haavar, these Arcanists had travelled over land and sea to reach the shores of Draedurond. The three fought valiantly against an army of Dragonborn, commanded by the Ancient Dragons, finally reaching the peak of the volcano now known as Dragon's Rest. It was here they are believed to have fought many Dragons, and even a number of Ancient Dragons - all converging at this growing tear in the world.
But the three had not come to fight, they had come to ensure the survival of their races. Amid the heat of battle, Olgi and Lemaer both utilised powerful magic. Modern Wizards, examining the written accounts of the event, conclude that the spell cast that moon could've possible gone beyond all known Levels of Magic, one of the only examples of a 12th Level Spell.
Lemaer died on the volcanoes peak, providing his body as a spell component; Giovanni died holding off an Ancient Dragon while the ritual was cast; and Olgi's fate is unwritten.
  With the completion of the ritual all Ancient Dragons ceased to be, pulled from the very fabric of reality - not cast to another plane, but destroyed entirely.
The remaining Dragons fled, the Dragonborn weakened, but no longer were the Races of Kene scared of the skies, or of independence. Now they were to write their own destiny.
