South of the Breach

These lands are characterized by the sharp contrast of what lies to the North and the South. On the horizon to the North the majestic mountain range called 'Fridun's Wall' the Dwarves of Falkur protect limits sight. Closer to the north lies the Breach, the large chasm that names the region. It seperates the known Northern Lands from the mysterious Southern Lands. The City of Bridges is just across the Breach and controls access to the three large bridges that cross this gap. The area south of the city has been cleared to make it more difficult for attackers to approach. Further to the south vegetation grows increasingly thicker until travelers get swallowed by the unknown that is the Southern Wilderness.

Geography

A Peninsula. The Breachway is the narrow passage that only the most daring Seafarers dare to traverse in order to cross over from the Aegidean Sea in the East to the Auric Ocean. The only freshwater source lies inside the The City of Bridges and with it's water and the irrigation systems build by Halfling Master Builders it brings live to the barren land.

Fauna & Flora

The area used to have high grass and groves. In order to be able to defend the terrain South of the Breach the Dwarves logged the trees and cut the grass. Now nothing hides people traveling north from onlookers and the sun. Where irrigation is possible, farmers tend to their crops. Shepherds keep goats on the sparse vegetation in the remaining area.

Natural Resources

The whole area profits mainly from it's good geopolitical situation. Barely any ships make their way north. There are difficult steep coats to the south-west and dangerous shallow waters with jagged rocks to the south-east.
