1947   Germany develops the world's first atomic bomb and launches a rapid and daring, unprovoked attack on the Soviet Union and the United States.   Effectively knocking these nations out, Nazi Germany quickly overran Europe and the Western USSR to the Urals.   With an uneasy peace treaty with the United States and the formation of the League of Fascist States, Germany looks to consolidate its power and project its influence across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
