Harlong

Harlong is the smallest of the original seven kingdoms in both size and population.  The harsh tundra and swamps make life outside the major city centers difficult but that doesn't deter the locals from achieving incredible feats of technology.  Harlong is the leading developer of Spectec innovations in all manners whether that be military or domestic.  For this reason education and engineering in particular are the primary focus for members of the kingdom.  Headed by the queen, Mila Von Essen, the kingdom is approximately 70% gnomish, though that number has fallen since the arrival of many refugees fleeing war, famine, and even magical persecution.
