A divergent boundary forms in western Wagakeya
Long ago but well after Wagakeya formed, the crust began to thin in western Wagakeya. A rift valley eventually formed, which is the namesake of present-day Rift Valley. In the future, the western edge of Wagakeya will break off and form a new continent.
