The Red Herring Bar

The doors to the Red Herring Bar swing close behind you. A dim orange fire burns in a shallow furnace embedded within the red brick wall behind the bar. The wall, which is covered in an assortment of liquids you're not entirely certain are all alcohol, sits behind a stone counter topped with deep, polished red marble. Behind the counter stands the bartender, a man with burnished brown skin whose eyes are hidden behind a thick pair of aviator sunglasses, and whose black hair is slicked back with a damp gel of some sort. A well-maintained, yet ancient-looking jukebox sits in a corner. Scattered throughout the bar, sitting at various tables and stools, are a motley group of patrons which don't appear entirely human.

Purpose / Function

The building stands alone in a mass of otherwise empty fields, which many long-abandoned signs boast long-forgotten real estate deals. The grass surrounding the building is dead, but remains, stagnant and overgrown.
