Veta was killed due to killing her mentor, and they meant to make an example of her.

• she killed her mentor during one sparring session out of anger, and this was further aggravated by her finding out that they had sold Smiles • Was executed by an abusive and high ranking member of the factory to "make an example of her" a day before the cult had scattered and her body was never found • Seeks revenge for all the abuse she and her fellow kidnapped went through • Became a revenant mercenary to find the one that had killed her (and to maybe find her family and to know where Smiles went)
