The Green Council

The council believes it has the age, experience, and talents that makes it both their right and responsibility to make hard decisions and guide the elves through hardship. They are not particularly concerned if a few innocents suffer in the process. In any conflict between tradition and progress, they always come down firmly on the side of tradition.
This approach often brings them into conflict with Loswar's more progressive ruler, Queen Kylesa Venedrasall. For a long time, the council has too secretive and influential for the Queen to move openly against them. However, in 1588, the Green Council had been brought into the light and disavowed publicly by Queen Venedrasall.
In 1655, the Green Council was permanently dissolved by the Queen, declaring them detrimental to the growth of the High Elven people on Loswar.
