The First Men

The First Men are the precursor to Humans. The first to be molded by the paws of Tita. They emerged not long after the first Elves and the forming of Dwarves by Brega. They came to live in what is now Tel Morath and began as little more than tribesman, scattered and leaderless. The tribes waged war among each other for hundreds of years until the twins, Baccob and Kord rose. They were mightier and wiser than any man, and united their race in peace. Together, the brothers and their people laid the first stones of what is known now as the megalopolis of Freebridge, whose true name is lost to time. The First Men held knowledge and mastery of ancient technologies long forgotten by the world today. They had an understanding of machines and machinations that those alive cant even dream of. These machines have long since corroded or sunk into the hills of Tel Morath, never to be discovered again.   The culture and heirarchy of the First Men are debated by scholars and anthropoligists world wide. Some debate they were a primitive society, favoring strength and forocity over intelligence and wisdom. This has been widely disputed however, due to the elaborate architecture and limited pieces of technology unearth earthed in the last six centuries.   After the First War of the Verum, Tita determined that his creation was far too powerful to sustain themselves on Mythris. They were smarter, faster and stronger than any other mortal race. So in one fell swoop he sterilized the First Men, leading to their slow demise over little more than a century. Some First Men still remain, locked deep away in the forgotten recess's of the world, suspended in a deep slumber. Kept alive by ancient technology long forgotten by even the Elves.   Tita didn't completely make the First Men barren though, only that they would give birth to smaller, inferior images of themselves. At first, the First Men murdered these children, seeing them as runts and cursed creatures. It wasn't until Baccob convinced the people, including his brother Kord, that these creatures were what would remain of them once they passed away.
