Scions of the Crystal Towers

The Scions of the Crystal Towers is the military arm of the Circle of Eight. Each and every Scion is a well versed combatant caster, while also being an extremely formidable swordsman. The best of these magus are trained to the highest standards and are called upon to perform personal protection for the Circle. The others are more of a professional police force, charged with protecting the students within the College of Arcanix. The Scions can also be used as agents that can be sent abroad to assist individuals, or even nations. These agents are there to secure the Circles interests in certain magical items or protection of volatile secrets that must be kept hidden. Scions are trained heavily in spell-breaking techniques, making them the bane of spellcasters. While they are known for that, they usually only ever need to use their skills to subdue unruly or dangerous students.
