High Elves

The High Elves are the oldest race of Mythris, appearing in a year that has been undetermined, possibly 12-15,000 years ago. They are an extremely proud race, and with that comes the notorious arrogance they exude. They are lovers of art, music and literature, and have produced the greatest song, books, and paintings known to the world. Even their ancient architecture is mimicked throughout the world to this day. They have raised mighty cities and impenetrable citadels across the world. They have been involved in countless wars, and their society shows it, with many more cities of theirs destroyed than still standing.
Sometime around -8000, the Elves split in a what is known as the Sundering. An upheaval in the race of the Elves, where many moved deep within the world or to its more wild and untamed places. After the Sundering, many of the High Elves left Tel Morath to an island shrouded in arcane power, where they began constructing a powerful empire. Known as The Lordship of the Las Eldar.
