S003C01 - Session 3

General Summary

Luyaris, went walking into the slums with Darts and Armbar who had joined him last session. He found the building where he was told to go and found a single door in this really kind of, "You will get stabbed." kind of alley. He found a cellar window and wild shaped into a cat and climbed into the window. However, he found out that floor was too low for him to be able to jump back up through the cellar window.
As Luyaris explored the cellar, he waited outside of a room of bandits who spoke for a while about a wererat who can see into the future and how the wererat has helped them with several of their crimes. Luyaris, then found the wererat, whom he found out is blind but can see into the future. The wererat was aware that Luyaris was coming, but did not know when he would physically be there. The wererat instructed Luyaris, to wait for 15 minutes, while the bandits did their thing.
Then, Khepri, went and had sex with some guards.
Then, Kaladin went back to the administration to be able to get some information on the names that he had identified as being common in his documents recovered from the wizard at the embassy. While here, he spoke with a big glassed old man with a crown of white hair. This old man's glasses magnified his eyes and he spoke like a little old Semite. He told Kaladin, about the Rand family, a family where the head of the family, Zebeda Rand, is the head of the Wizards College. One of the names, Zoey Rand, is identified to have been Zebeda's daughter and stayed a while in Tiledes. She then moved to Omenaeama and that is where her TIledes paper trail ends.
The other name, Wecker Rand, is the son of Zebeda Rand and is a explorer of sorts. He is currently in an expedition in Cans. He did not stay very long in Tiledes. With that, Kaladin, had all he could get from the administration office in Tiledes on these people. On his way out, the old man gave Kaladin an Atlas of the world, asking Kaladin, if he had one. Kaladin, did not. The old man, believing that such a powerful figure, such as Kaladin, should have an Atlas of the world and gave Kaladin an 11inx17in Atlas.
After 15 minutes, Luyaris, left with the wererat to explore the Bandit's lair. Luyaris, had found a few bottles of expensive alcohol and stole them. He also broke a knife from a drawer of knives he found in the bandits office while trying to unlock a chest in the bandits office. After this, Luyaris decided to leave with the wererat however, a bandit had caught the wererat. The bandit instructed the wererat to go back to his cell, to which the wererat responded, "I'm just stretching my legs sir." meanwhile, Luyaris, as a cat, was trying to act friendly and steal keys from the bandit. He failed to steal the keys, however, he did get out of the bandit building.
After leaving the building, he transformed back into a human, met up with Darts and Armbar, who were chilling outside of the building. He handed them off the expensive alcohol and told them to take it back to Helena's tavern for Regi. However, on the way, Armbar had bumped into a coughing hobo who in a fit of coughing grabbed at Armbars alcohol bottle, took it from him, said, "Can I just get a swig of that for my lungs?" and proceeded to drink a little bit of the bottle. He coughed some more and spilled some of the bottle. He gave it back to Armbar, stumbled away, and passed out in a ditch.
Luyaris, then met up with Khepri, and they both fought two bandits in an Alley way in the slums. They dispatched the bandits pretty quickly with fire and acid. Kaladin, on his way to the slums, after having remembered he was invited by Luyaris, found the dead bodies and tried reporting them to the authorities. However, because it was the slums, the authorities really didn't want to do much about it. Despite the crime being incredibly gruesome, but it was also committed by Luyaris and Khepri, so what is one to do?
The Alcohol bottles are being used by Luyaris as part of the collateral for the debt Luyaris owes to the in with the job he took up with Regi.
