Luyaris and the Hurricane Crew

Luyaris meets up with the rat "crew" of the Hurricane, speaking with Ratcardo, a rat wearing a small red bandana.
His crew: Miguel, Bryan, and Chloe, all manage the Hurricane in some of the weirdest ways. As it would turn out, the Hurricane is a magical beast airship. Although it functions like a normal airship, the magic that powers it makes the ship "alive" in some ways.
One of the issues the Hurricane has been having is that it's sick. As it would turn out, a small family of Bowtruckles have a nest in one of the air intakes of the Airship. For the Bowtruckles, it's a good home. However, for the Hurricane, it's like having a sinus infection.
The Bowtruckles may be inclined to move to a new home with some convincing.
The Hurricane itself, as a byproduct of it's magical energy usage, tends to make magical artifacts around the exhaust area. These artifacts aren't particularly useful except for magical creatures. The Bowtruckles would be able to safely start a new home with a collection of these artifacts.
However, the exhaust pipes of the ship are riddled with incredibly quick spinning fans. Someone could be torn apart by these fans trying to retrieve the artifacts. However, Ratcardo knows one way to get to the exhaust, by going backwards from the outside. However, as the ship is flying, someone would be faced with strong winds.
