Location: Steamwheel Freehold is a large white plantation house north of Monroe, LA and south of Black Bayou Lake
Description: The County of Steamwheel in Monroe, LA is set in a sprawling plantation manor house that was painted white with grass green accents. It has a lovely garden around it, though most of it was fallow over winter, and a grove of gorgeous trees out back. It was close enough to Black Bayou lake for a fantastic vista and it looks quite peaceful in the setting sun. Unlike Riverwatch there are no guards lining the walk or ramparts. There was a Troll door guard dressed in a nice three-piece suit with a cleverly tailored and armored vest and a nice sword strapped to his side. Very dapper.
