World of Darkness

A typical World of Darkness setting focusing on Vampire: The Masquerade. The story is mostly based in Rawson City, a fictional city located in New Jersey with elements from other parts of America and Europe.   It is a world much like our own, set during present day (main events starting in 2012). However, it is a world that is much darker that isn't immediately apparent to the humans of the world. Living among them are supernaturals, and the most prominent in this story are the vampires.   Here the vampires lurk in the shadows of the night, politicking and scheming against each other with no qualms in using humans to get what they want. They keep themselves hidden to prevent humans from discovering their existence, knowing that humans could be capable of wiping out vampires. On the other hand, there are many concerned that there is another threat to vampires, a supernatural kind.
