Being a mainly industrial town, the people are mostly work oriented. There is also a love for sport in the population, especially for American Football. The population welcomes change as is seen by the shift made by the factories from traditional to being completely eco-friendly. The general population is progressive and supports people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures.

Technology has seen many major advancements in the past decades, most people use AI to help them with many of their daily tasks, people are more connected to each other through the internet as many small and large businesses now completely operate online. As Lansing is the capital of Michigan, the town is home to the state's administration, as well as the Mayor of the state. The town has served as the capital of the state since 1847 and is run directly by the state government. It is also the town where the highest court of the state is situated as well as the central City Hall for the state.

History

Lansing has been a very important town the American Nation and the state of Michigan. It has been the center of educational excellence for the state since 1855, Michigan State University being the first land grant university in the United States. It has also been the religious center for the state, as after being named the capital of Michigan, Pope Pius XI formed the Lansing Catholic Diocese in the town. The town also has been leading place for automobile manufacturing in the country with many plants being setup in the town, by some of the biggest companies.
