Altered Flora

Flora's Physical Changes

Plants have changed in colour, with most becoming shades of blues and dark purples (normally emitting some form of a blue faint light).

Flower petals have become larger and have either formed into one same petal or more smaller petals.

These plants have become more bulbous and round, with many beginning to droop due to this added weight.

Trees have been effected in a similar way, with many trees leaves and branches forming into one.

Most affected trees have seen the same colour change as the plants (Blue and dark purples, with faint light being emitted), however these trees seem to vary in colour and shade more.

Flora's Behaviour

A lot of the altered flora no longer rely on sunlight for nutrients, resulting in a large amount of these affected plants having differing growth patterns.
With this, more forms of flora rely on the nutrients provided by the corrupt soil. This ultimately culminates to the roots of these plants becoming a lot longer and stronger, with these roots greatly expanding throughout the corrupt soil (as this is the case, most corrupt flora is extremely sturdy, taking a large amount of effort to be pulled/ ripped out from the ground).
