Starlight Energy is the supernatual force found only in and around the Chimeria Mountain, found when The Merge occured. It's used in alchemy, that use it along with alcohol and other ingredients to create magical cocktails called Spirits.
Chimerans see Starlight Energy as a gift from the mountain itself, partially unaware of its origins being Oog (the supernatural entity), buried deep underground.
Chimerans, outside of alchemy, use the rain for of Starlight to bathe with, as it makes skin sparkle.

Manifestation

Starlight Energy, like the name suggests, manifests as a sparkly midnight blue substance in all forms - solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.
Due to the tropical climate of Chimeria, characterised by a large number of annual precipitation, the most common form of the energy is Starlight Rain, the liquid form created from the energy's interaction with the clouds surrounding the mountain. The rain does have a notorious effect that, years later, still amuses Chimerans, especially the youngest: it makes skins sparkle. Since Starlight Rain is mainly used in Alchemy, the mining towns, through the use of large water tanks, are responsible for its collection and shipment. Nevertheless, elderly and most experienced alchemists have homemade wooden tanks where they personally collect Starlight Rain.

Less common of Starlight Rain (but not so rare) is the plasma form in which the energy manifests itself: Starlight Lightning. This state is visible during the occasional thunderstorms that hit Chimeria. It is generated when Starlight energy collides with another electrically charged region in the atmosphere, filling the clouds with electrical charges. Even if Chimerans are used to Starlight Lightning, they are still amused, and frightened at the same time, by this unique phenomenon.
There are, instead, two different solid forms in which Starlight Energy could be found in Chimeria's world: Starlight Rocks and Starlight Crystals. Starlight rocks are sedimentary rocks start forming when Chimeria Mountain's soil and remains of the merged cities are eroded and settle down by the energy, producing the first layer of the rocks. As time pass by, several layers accumulate, creating the final stone. As a result of the long and peculiar process, these rocks are not as common to encounter as Starlight Rain and, furthermore, are only fundable inside the mountain. Also discovered in the mountain, but rarer, are Starlight Crystals; these are glowing crystals generated from Starlight Rocks when subjected to temperature and pressure changes. Chimerans consider both these rocks and crystals as powerful charms.
Lastly but not least is the gas form of Starlight Energy: Starlight Steam. This form manifests itself when evaporated Starlight Rain is subjected to a temperature which condenses it. Starlight Steam, differently from the other states, is the only form in which the energy is characterised by a lighter blue. Furthermore, because of the scented soap smell of Starlight Energy, Starlight Steam is also produced and used by Chimerans for beauty treatments.
