Session 7 - Red Cheeked
General Summary
-The party had completed a short rest after killing the assassin sent for them
-A guard approached them and offered to clean up the scene for them
-The group moves to attend the fighting ring
-In front of the temple of Lodus Bala Ragemaw was throwing some leaves in honor of the fighters. Some of the party picks up some leaves.
-When at the slaughterhouse for the fighting match Kelbi Kross was told to go around back to the back entrance for contestants. While the others had to pay for entry, except for Amar
-Kelbi Kross is confronted by 3 people on her way to the back entrance, A lizardfolk and 2 bruisers.
-This group asks Kelbi Kross to throw their match or else be killed. Kelbi agrees and heads to the back entrance.
-Kelbi Kross enters the back entrance and meets the 3 other fighters, A gnome (Felver), A human, and a half-elf.
-Kelbi Kross meets the ring leader Ethregar who states that you cannot kill and may use any weapon provided.
-back in the main building, Jonathan DeWitt and Suoroc decided to get some food.
-The party except for Kelbi Kross see Darren Bolboc on the second floor with his own booth being taken care of by servents and waiters.
-The fighting match begins with Ethregar introducing the fighters and they are randomly chosen to fight one another. With Kelbi Kross fighting against Felvar.
-Kelbi Kross tells Emrys Tanda to be ready to go after the fight, inconspicuously, while pumping up the crowd.
-The fight starts with the match against Kelbi Kross and Felvar.
-Kelbi Kross gets an early lead to the weapons by tripping Felvar.
-Felvar gets the first hit off, but Kelbi Kross attacks 3 times and hits twice knocking Felvar out and winning the match.
-3 cloaked figures and 3 beasts appear on the rafters and attack the party.
-A tough fight ensues with the beasts extruding green choking gas. Kelbi Kross , Jonathan DeWitt and Amar all go down in the fight
-The party defeats the enemies and heals their down party members and makes a break for it running to the inn for the night.
-Suoroc puts their cart in the back of the building to hide it and the pixie gives him an earful about not paying attention to her and gives him a small glass vial.
-The pixie makes themselves at home playing some cards and being sarcastic in the room. Amar gives her candy and makes her a small bed to sleep in.
-The party goes to sleep for the night.
-Emrys Tanda wakes up after their 4 hour meditation and heads out to talk with Dawn Gath
-Dawn Gath lends out a book about Goreck 's history and they learn about the creation of the Vale of Eternal Storms , the flooding of the red river, and the illness that plagued the town in the past.
-The next morning Suoroc gets started on making a paralyzing potion for their client, Amar sleeps in, and the rest of the party heads to Happy Cow Bakery.
-When the bakery party reaches Happy Cow Bakery Kelbi Kross meets her arranged date she was supposed to meet last night, Genvee.
-Some awkard exchanges happen between Genvee and Kelbi Kross and they decide, with Emrys Tanda to head to Harvest Meadow Eatery with donuts being sent to the rest of the party at the Inn, Jonathan DeWitt heads back to the inn.
-Kelbi Kross , Emrys Tanda , and Genvee enter the eatery and meet Kyris and order some food and have even more awkward encounters.
-Kelbi Kross convinces Genvee that adventuring with the party would be the best option for him and to leave Goreck behind. Genvee agrees to try it out for a couple adventures to see if he would enjoy it.
