Session 19 - Surprise Guests

General Summary

-The party exited the forest road and got onto the main road west towards Mortar Pass -After riding up the mountain road the party came upon a wooden gate guarded by a goblin -The goblin requested 1,000 gold in order to pass -Jonathan DeWitt and Kelbi Kross approached and attempted to convince the goblin to let them through -Kelbi Kross used the perfume of charm she had and convinced the goblin to lower the price to 100 gold and a kiss, which kelbi provided -The goblin called to let them through and to not hurt them -Suoroc overhead the goblins saying, "Yeah, go through the gate." "They're going through the gate, good"  -On the other side of the gate the party saw the goblin encampment and some goblin children peeking their heads through the tents at them -About a mile past the gate the party came upon some battlements blocking the road, with a wooden bridge spanning the length of the mountain pass above them.  -Suoroc and Amar got off the battlements to move them and Kelbi Kross went towards a nearby cave and yelled, "BOO!" -Kelbi Kross startled a goblin in the cave and a fight started -The fight was long and the goblins were stealthy, but the party prevailed -The group found some gold on the goblins and inside the cave in a chest next to a throne-like chair, a letter that stated the goblins were in the pass to collect money to send to a raiding party outside of the town of Mortar Pass. Also, that the raiding party was attacking Mortar Pass and using the spoils to send to Understille to fund Zeeaz's campaign there -The party gathered back in their carriage and continued on
