Session 12 - Underestimated Evil
General Summary
-Amar told Faulk Cornwallis they needed a place to speak in private about some information that may help the town. Faulk took them to his house
-The party revealed the truth about what had happened at The Bolboc Party Incident and showed Faulk Cornwallis All of the evidence they had found for Jorvus Anlay and the Green Liquid
-Faulk Cornwallis let them know that the Bolboc family had been acting weird for the past few months. That Darren Bolboc used to walk through town and speak with the townsfolk frequently, but that has since stopped. Also, that Jared Bolboc used to hate his father, and even left town to start his own business, but around the same time Darren stopped walking around town, Jared came home and apparently healed the familial wounds
-The party wanted to speak with the town gossip Dawn Gath so they headed there while Faulk Cornwallis spoke with Ulric Mistsplitter
-Speaking with Dawn Gath they learned the same thing that Faulk Cornwallis had said about the Bolboc family. They also learned that Alria Elevir had been seen sneaking around the town at night and taking notes a peering into people's houses. Another thing they learned is that Mithlis Bolboc , when drinking, was known to become more promiscuous with the men in town.
-The party went to investigate Alria Elevir and asked her some questions about her involvement with Faulk Cornwallis and her late night escapades. Alria dodged the questions and requested they bring Faulk Cornwallis with them if further information were to be given. Jonathan DeWitt bought some thieve's tools, Amar had her axe sharpened, and Kelbi Kross purchased a new rapier.
-The party was still suspicious of Shari Bolboc and went to the stables and met "Horses Wading Through Water" , the local stable master. They learned from him that Shari Bolboc hadn't changed her behavior or habits as her family had. Also, that she cared deeply for the horses.
-The group met with Shari Bolboc at the back of the stables and asked some questions. The party learned that Shari had prepared responses for most of what the party asked and that she was very sensitive about any slander or ill will spoken about her family.
-The group went into the tavern to speak with Ulric Mistsplitter after the stables.
-Inside the tavern Emrys Tanda caused a small scene when an orc accidently tripped over her while she played her drums in the middle of the tavern on the floor. Amar paid the orc and Emrys healed him of his wounds before he left.
-The group then asked Ulric Mistsplitter to answer some questions and went into the kitchen.
-Ulric Mistsplitter was withholding information and dodging questions until Kelbi Kross and Amar intimidated him and he cracked.
-Right before he was going to divulge what he knew Burchie Ironhide stabbed a dagger into Ulric Mistsplitter 's throat while his arm started to glow with green flame.
