Session 11 - Veiled Accusations
General Summary
- The party awoke at The Sleepy Steer to a knock on the door from Faulk Cornwallis . Faulk began to question them about the previous nights events.
- Suoroc gave Faulk Cornwallis a rendition of what happened and the rest of the party didn't offer much else.
- Faulk Cornwallis let the party know they were being charged with murder, burglary, stealing, battery, and breaking and entering. The story they were charged with, was as follows:
- Faulk Cornwallis told the party to stay in town until the trial later in the evening at 6pm
- Emrys Tanda contacted her father in the feywild and was given the advice of, Talk with the people accusing you, give them gifts, find the truth
- Kelbi Kross further complicated matters by mentioning the fighting ring once again. Kelbi then left the inn to "let off some steam". Jonathan DeWitt followed her.
- At The Grey Ranger Kelbi Kross confided in Ulric Mistsplitter and got a twitch of his eye when mentioning the Green Liquid and was told that a farm worker Delmak had been at the tavern after the Bolboc party and had clear memory of what happened. But, the following morning didn't remember any of it.
- Kelbi Kross and Jonathan DeWitt went to Happy Cow Bakery to try and speak with Genvee Cromveil . Ish Cromveil was scared to let Kelbi Kross or Jonathan DeWitt speak to Genvee because of the bad influence and accusation on Genvee and the recent accusation of him murdering someone.
- Jonathan DeWitt convinced Ish Cromveil to let them talk with Genvee Cromveil, when his father was home in an hour.
- Amar , Emrys Tanda and Suoroc went to grab Faulk Cornwallis to escort them to Bolboc Farms so they could conduct their own investigation and show him some of the things they saw the night before.
- Kelbi Kross and Jonathan DeWitt met up with the party and with Faulk Cornwallis headed to Bolboc Farms
- At the farm, three merchants were packing up their tents and the vast majority of other decorations and tents had been taken down, or were in the process of being broken down.
- Amar went up to a couple who were looking for something. The woman responded in fear and accusations of the previous nights events and walked away with her husband.
- Suoroc talked with Finare Isalon who didn't remember meeting him the night prior.
- The party moved to talk with Minnie Hummingbird who repeated what they were accused of and showed animosity towards the group. Emrys Tanda attempted to contradict this, but Minnie was steadfast in their perception of what happened.
- Amar read the thoughts of Minnie Hummingbird and found out that after seeing the security burnt with Genvee Cromveil fire breath, she went and hid in her wagon.
- The party then moved to question Otello Swampsquatter . Amar helped him with getting his boxes and things into his carriage and read his mind and found nothing of use.
- Otello Swampsquatter was happy to see Jonathan DeWitt who had purchased some of his trinkets the night before and gave him a bottle of Woot-On-Sea whiskey as thanks. He divulged that he drinks a bottle every night and turned in early before any of the events happened last night.
- The party moved to the pit where they had disposed of the security's bodies the night before and found it to be full of dead vermin instead of humanoid body parts like it was yesterday night. Faulk Cornwallis began to show more disbelief in their side of the story and kept a tighter eye on them after this.
-Suoroc was taken into custody by the security detail and was being taken to a lockup on the property
-The security that had Suoroc were found dead in a vermin pit with Suoroc being free
-Three people were seen breaking into the cellar of the Bolboc estate
-Money and valuables were missing within the Bolboc estate
-A naked small fairy ran screaming nonsense from behind the VIP tent being pursued by security.
-The fairy ran towards the food tent attended by Genvee Cromveil
-Genvee Cromveil breathed fire on the pursuing security and killed him
-The rest of the party's security attempted to capture the small fairy
-Suoroc , Amar , Jonathan DeWitt and Emrys Tanda all engaged the security and killed them and 3 party goers during the battle.
-The accused ran away from the scene
