Winterthurn

Winterthurn is a city nestled in a small resource rich valley. Closed off from the rest of the world, Winterthurn’s culture and economy revolve around a select few families who’s power and authority comes from harvesting the nearby resources. Nearly all humans, and all one religion, Winterthurn has antiquated ideas about diversity. Very rarely are outsiders trusted or welcomed into the town.   The town worships a god who Henryk cynically refers to as "the god of polite society, and everything that lies just beneath it's surface". Winterthurn is divided into two unofficial districts: South Winterthurn, and North Winterthurn. South Winterthurn is largely made up of slums and industrial areas, where North Winterthurn is commercial and suburban. Most manors and estates owned by the ruling class families are found in North Winterthurn.
