032 • Chwinga Charms and Chameleonfolk Harms

General Summary

Our magnificent Musical Menagerie, that's you guys, find yourselves in the dense, treacherous Quoraska Jungle as you nobly aid Thistlewic and begrudgingly assist Nicodranas. The air is thick with humidity, and there seems to be something around every corner that seems bent on killing you, as if the jungle itself is trying to swallow you whole as it has so many travelers and civilizations before.

Grissen, 6th of Unndilar

You set off early-to-mid morning in the truly disgusting weather. After just a short while, you encountered some playful little nature spirits and took a breather to strategize, play some music for the Chwingas, and throw Relixo into the air toward Comet. The Chwingas were overall pleased with their interaction with you, so they used their magic to grant you charms, each with unique abilities.

Trudging onward, you're chatting as you push your way through the dense jungle growth. Iris heard a loud, rigid, draconic voice about 90ft ahead of the party. You all stopped to strategize but it was all a bit too noisy and unstealthy as you noticed the draconic voice had ceased. Seemingly out of nowhere, two spears silently flew at Ren and Petrus and combat ensued.

In retaliation, you two quickly advanced forward and, seeing only one target, a poorly-camouflaged and scrawny looking Chameleonfolk, similar to a lizardfolk, you executed a perfect cloud strike maneuver. The spear-wielding creature was thoroughly destroyed by the critical hit, but they were not alone. The combat was with 8 of these folks who were consistently shouting in agitated draconic voices. During the fight, Royce voiced his doubts since he had not seen any of these types of people attacking Thistlewic, and as Ren tried to stand down, the leader was killed, leaving a few Chameleonfolk remaining.
