General Summary

Miresen, 5th of Unndilar

The Musical Menagerie, trekking through the Quoraska Jungle, just defeated a band of cultists. You looted them for whatever clues you could find, and you discussed what you knew about them. Iris, with Royce's corroboration, you recognized them as Smoking Mirror operatives. Despite the steady warm rain, you forged onward, lost, toward, hopefully, a destination.

Comet and Royce scouted from above and had a moment alone to catch up. Royce, clearly rattled by the recent skirmish with the purple-cloaks, confided in you a little of what he's experienced since you left Thistlewic. Apparently, it was the Smoking Mirrors that caused the death of Shakira and the exile of Bad Bunny, leaving Royce to be the last of the Windfeathers in town, until you returned. You made him a promise to avenge Shakira, swearing on your mentor Naomi Blackbrick. He asked to hear more about her someday. Eventually you spotted a bit of water ahead of you and guided your party there.

When you arrived, it was surrounded by giant lizards; they were easily eradicated. A campfire was enjoyed before turning in for the night. Ren as you were preparing for watch, you caught Iris before she turned in and asked her to investigate some movement on the edge of your human vision. You approached, Iris, by circling around the figure and noticed what appeared to be half-parrot-Aarakocra and half-jaguar-Tabaxi. It was not until you were already mid-pounce that he turned to face you and you saw his translucent nature...
