028 • Into the Woods

General Summary

Miresen, the 4th of Unndilar

Trekking through the jungle, The Musical Menagerie purposely went the wrong direction. Ren suggested revisiting the massive swath of destroyed trees they had encountered on their approach to Thistlewic. When you got there, Nixx used his acorn charm to gather some information from the trees.

Returning from your backtrack, you came across the pond from before and fought a troop of lizardfolk easily. Then, entering territory that was new to you, Royce guided you in a direction (aka, out of game, of the three map hexes you could choose to enter, he gave you his suggestion.)

That afternoon, Comet, you noticed you were being followed by a brightly-colored, curious, and as you would soon realize, loud tropical bird. In your interactions with it you discovered a few things:

1. It can mimic a person's voice almost perfectly.
2. There seems to be no volume control on it.
3. The food and kindness you offered it was gratefully accepted.

A little while later, you made camp, watching the sun disappear completely behind the gathering clouds before doing so. The party was asleep inside the dome when Nixx woke up to Jynx making a fuss outside. Iris you spot some flying pests swarming around her and Relixo.
