General Summary

Merryfrond's Day

On the first day of the Merryfrond's Day celebration, The Musical Menagerie had checked in with Charlie at The Avian for your Bardle performance slot. Next, you got some disconcerting tarot readings from Brakobark; then you browsed some hats at Matt's tent.

There were many magical masks that caught your eye, but with not enough money, you chose to try to win some at the spider eating contest. Each of you unsuccessful there, you tried your hand at The Avian. Nixx won a bunch and then left with Comet. Iris made a bit as did Petrus, but Ren broke even. You did meet an elf who you asked out on a date, but you later met her girlfriend. Their names were Aiyana and Leila and they seem to have a dog.

While gambling happened on one end of the neighborhood, thievery was going down on the other! Comet managed to steal a handful of masks from Matt while Nixx, disguised as Ren, created a diversion. Great, now I'm going to have to introduce even stronger monsters to the game since you have so many magic items now. Bummerrrrr ;)

After browsing the tents, it was time for business. You went to The Lunar Theatre to perform for the judges. Despite some poor rolls, you managed to beat the other performances in your round 1 tier, Iron Moradin and The Ruby of the Sea, and you advanced to the Round of Duels. You elected to perform first, and you beat Earth, Wind, and Shire. This means you made it into the final performance!!

You joined the crowd to watch Reeve's sad melody beat Kendrick Labard's flow in the second duel, and enjoyed a thrilling back and forth between Kid Kobold and 21 Airship Captains with Kid Kobold the eventual winner. This means the final round will be a competition between Kid Kobold, Reeve, and The Musical Menagerie.

Amid the noise of this third duel, Wensforth informed you, Ren, that Master Yussa Errenis would like to speak with you before dinner. So, you went over to Tidepeak Tower after the round of duels. There, over a glass of whiskey in his entertaining lounge, after some pleasantries, you learned that Yussa was ready to cash in on the favor he requested in exchange for the use of his knowledge and runes. Seeing as it is something he is owed, he was frank about it. He requested that you intentionally lose the bardle so that his friend and investment, Reeve, could win the grand prize. As he silently stood and turned his back to you, you reflexively broke your rocks glass and in a huff you stood up and made your way toward the door.
