007 • Meandering Meetings
General Summary
Whelsen, the 20th of Thunsheer
After arriving in Nicodranas, making their way to a crowded Blue Balor, and starting a friendly fist fight, the party woke up the next day with a few matters to handle.
They ate breakfast. Boom, done.
They took Georgey to the exotic animal caretaker that Iris and Nixx knew, a grizzled tabaxi named Traxidor who operates out of a warehouse on the edge of the Restless Wharf. One of Trax's first questions was about the party's name and they chose The Bards and the Bear (for now). He agreed to board Georgey for 3sp/day and said he could take Georgey to be tamed with a friend just outside of town. He didn't know her rates though. Both Trax and Baal before him had recommended seeing Mapenntan about armor, and Trax mentioned the name Vulough the Wise as someone that might buy their salvaged animal parts.
The party, hoping to find Vulough at the Temple of Sehanine, made their way from the wharf to the Open Quay. On the way, they snagged one of many posters that canvased the city seemingly overnight. On it were details about the upcoming Merryfrond's Day Bardle as well as a map of the city.
The party ended up finding Vulough, a tall silver firbolg, in the temple. They walked outside to do some business and ended up selling a handful of items for what they assumed was a fair price. In talking, they learned that Vulough is a ship crew person for hire and often works with Captain Silver (Rixa Rae Silver). I don't remember why that was important for the conversation, but it happened. Next stop, Mapenntan!
Finally arriving at Nicodranas's premier blacksmith, The BAB commissioned a sword and shield for Petrus and maybe some weapons for Iris, bought some simple armaments, and talked about interesting political topics/views. Mapenntan seems to know Ren's mentor so they hit it off right away and Ren landed himself a loose apprenticeship quite easily.
The second to last errand was visiting Yussa Errenis, but it didn't seem like there was a way inside. So, Ren wrote a note on the ground:

The last, newly-added task they have for the day is finding Charlie and signing up for the Bardle with her and her angels. It's about noon, and the day is yours!
